Topographic Products
Digital Terrain Model (DTM)
A DTM is a digital representation of a bare-earth ground surface that excludes trees, buildings, and other surface objects. Altiun can deliver DTMs in a raster or triangular irregular network (TIN) format.
Elevation Contours
Contours are generated by connecting equal lines of elevation across a surface, giving you a 3D picture of the land without the need for full DTM. Altiun can deliver contours in shapefile (.shp) or AutoCAD (.dwg) format.
Slope Vector Field
Alongside contours, a slope vector field is a useful tool for quickly analyzing the drainage patterns of your site.
Planimetrics
Features derived from a 3D point cloud, such as edges of roadways, sidewalks, buildings, etc. are generally far more practical than the point cloud itself. Altiun uses state-of-the-art softwares to extract planimetric features where traditional surveys are not required to complete the work.
